Use ～させていただく when you need to frame your own action as something graciously permitted by the listener — the default humble register for announcing what you will do in meetings, email, and public notices. It is far more common in business than plain ～します, especially for actions that touch the other party (checking, deciding, postponing, closing shop). Beware overuse: when no permission is conceivably involved, it reads as stiff or obsequious, and plain 謙譲語 (お～する) is cleaner.
